Sod Walk Exhibition in Dumbo Art Festival
Every year, artists from variety fields come to Dumbo Art Festival to present their art works. This year, I was honored to participate in "Sod Walk" exhibition, which was created by Karhaus sisters. I took the video and edited it. "Sod Walk" is a roving performance piece made from a 20 foot long Kentucky Blue Grass sod carpet. The segmented pieces of sod were hand lifted by performers and walked to the opposite end in a continuous manner, allowing the carpet to slowly travel around DUMBO. The Sod Walk was open to the public and people engaged with it as if it were a park.

Fujian Immigrants in NYC Documentary Film
For the past few years, great changes have taken place in Chinatown in New York City. For example, the old "Chinatown" in the lower east side of Manhattan has expanded. Other New York City Chinese communities have been settled over the years. These changes of Chinatown in New York City are attributed to new immigrants from China, especially the immigrants from Fujian, China. According to the record, the immigrants from Fujian have become the largest Chinese immigrant group in New York City.
In 1997, Fujian Overseas Compatriot Union built a statue of Lin Zexu (林則徐) in the south of "Fuzhou Street" in Chinatown. Lin is a Chinese historical figure and he is also from Fujian, China.
